Online morning zazen Tue – Fri
We sit together virtually via Zoom and in silence. You can join for the whole time or part of it. Please have your video on, so we can see who is there and have a sense of sitting together. You can position yourself however you like.
The zendo is “open” at 6.30, the sitting period begins at 6.40 with three gongs (three clappers 1 min before indicate that we are about to start) and ends at 7.20 a.m. with a gong and a short chant (the Verse of the Kesa), commonly recited at the end of morning zazen.

Verse of the Kesa
Vast is the robe of liberation
A formless field of benefaction
I wear the Tathagata teaching
Saving all sentient beings
On Fridays we do a short service at the end of the sitting, chanting the ‘Enmei Jukku Kannon Gyo’ followed by a dedication and prayer. You will have a chance to name people you would like to send your prayers and well-wishes to.
There is no fee, donations are welcome. See ‘contact’ .
